About Us

Fitness 101 Bootcamp training was created to help promote more healthy and active lifestyles.  Being more physically active as a group brings a strong sense of community & support with a common goal: feeling good and looking good from the inside out.  Our trainers,  will work you to the core, for one hour of hardcore training, challenging your every muscle.  Be it weight loss, strength, endurance, flexibility... Fitness 101 will get you there!!

Shalah has an extensive career in personal training from youth athletetic development to UFC training.
  -Pro & elite level trainer at NYSC and Crunch, respetively.
  -Certified in TRX, Pre & Post Natal, Special Populations, Youth development
  -Certified Personal Trainer: NASM

Yamisi Fanga
 
Yamisi's career in fitness began from her long background in sports (swimming, tennis, softball, track). However being an avid basketball player in New York City and brief collegiate experience, lead her to coaching and training athletes since 2003.
  -Assistant Coach Girl's Basketball (2005, 2006): Bronx Leadership Academy HS
  -Co-Founder (2006): Baseline NYC, Inc.
  -Certified Personal Trainer (2008): AAAI/ISSA
  -Certified Strength & Conditioning Sp. (2010): NSCA
  -Certified Pre & Post Natal
  -Training experience: Get In Shape Bootcamp, NYSC, CRUNCH, Dakota PT & Pilates
  -Created Clutch Fitness & Performance Training (2012)
  -Currently pursuing MS in Exercise Physiology & Sports Nutrition at LIU
